This week we saw the works of Jessica Avery, Brett Dickson, Emma Wallace, Dara Yasmin Vera Cruz De Melo, Charlotte Stewart and Krysta Hudspith. In this crit there was a wide range of styles used including portraiture - we saw a representational figure painting and more narrative fantasy/dreamlike studies exhibited a long with some pop art inspired large scale work focusing on eyes. Some personal pieces consisting and focusing on the colour yellow were shown with a lot of upside down text which was an interesting concept. There was also an architectural study and interesting fluid paintings.
