in between the 'pink aesthetic' series i wanted to paint something figure related and this set of legs came to the surface although it is random and some may say unrelated to my project - i disagree, looking at the piece yes it is a pair of legs/feet but it isn't as obvious as it seems, they are two forms that could be anything. They do look a bit like logs which relates to my wood piece i did earlier and has also given me an idea to use wood/logs to represent the bone of a person like my paintings are the flesh and this has made my project a lot more conceptual ! The deep red splatters of paint littering the composition also creates perhaps an animosity towards the piece, i feel it enforces the 'fleshy' idea to my project.
