This is a really interesting composition as the viewpoint is as if its first person looking in a mirror but of course theres already a figure there. The use of the mirror means the figure isn't centered which is rather ambiguous and different to look at. This particular painting is one of my favourites because there was a lot of skin to paint but also the face shows a lot in the fact there isn't much expression - that itself says a lot. i feel it conveys the lack of confidence people can feel in their appearance  which is what i originally set out to do.
