This week i explored my fascination with the pink aesthetic and my pieces have taken on a raw, fleshy look. I really enjoy making these pieces, at the minute i'm doing them on A2 paper and am using a water spray to break up the oil in the paint to create interesting little forms and in places i am layering up the bold paint thickly and they're really coming alive. Each piece is different but as a series look good - it would be interesting to see them all up on a wall in a white space perhaps going around the room.... Looking forward to making more and expanding this idea by trying a it on a different material and a larger scale or a smaller scale.. !
