after working on A2 sized pieces for my 'pink aesthetic' series i decided this week to go a step further and make something on unstretched canvas. This is a 7ft tall piece which i really adore. It's a very bizarre size because it is so long and it isn't very wide but that's what makes it unique . Being this long also echoes the idea of the canvas being the body. i deliberately chose to not paint the whole canvas and leave it blank to give it that edgy raw unfinished almost 'flawed' feel to it. I also purposely didn't include the black and red forms because this piece felt peaceful to me the way it is and i feel the viewer can stare at it and immerse themselves in it.
